I have been factory trained on most brands over the years. Started training on Frigidaire before 1962 at General Motors training center when they owned them. I have seen a lot of changes over the years with some being good and some not so good. I service most brands of household appliances. Currently I am not signed up to do any factory warranty work. I keep up with training on all brands of new models of appliances thru an appliance training online and hands on. Models are continuing to change all the time.

My name is Porter Gaston. I am the owner-operator of A-1 Appliance. Located in Idaho Falls, Idaho and opened in Sept.1993 to present. I have been repairing appliances for over 50 years. Started repairing when still in high school.Worked for 2 years full time after graduation and then served 2 years in the army(1973-1975). From 1975 to present have serviced appliances full time. Repaired in my home state of Virginia until moving to Idaho Falls in 1981. Repaired for another company until 1993 and then opened A-1 Appliance
